Earthquake's Fury Tests Colombia's Resilience A 7. 4 magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia on Monday, claiming over a hundred lives and leaving hundreds trapped in collapsed buildings.
The disaster has caused widespread destruction across the region, with pictures and videos emerging from Pereira, Quibdo, Cali, and Manizales revealing a scene of utter devastation.
The epicentre of the earthquake was located in San José del Palmar, a rural community in the Choco region, where most buildings are now rubble.
